Meet the Team

Founded in 2008 by Jack Buckskin, Kuma Kaaru has grown over the past 14 years into a community of 12 staff, passionate about sharing our incredible culture.

Kuma Kaaru aims to educate and teach Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal People of the local language and culture to showcase the diversity of Aboriginal nations.

Working with all kinds of organisations, from schools to the South Australian Music Awards and Sydney Swans, our family works to strengthen relationships between Aboriginal People and the wider community.
